About

I was born on Christmas Eve in Duluth Minnesota, which has to be the coldest, darkest place on earth at that time of year.  I grew up in Florida among the alligators and hurricanes, moved to Texas to be with cowboys, then Utah, Tennessee, Georgia and New Jersey   In the mean time, I graduated from the University of Texas with a pre-med/chemistry degree and went straight into selling welding supplies, then working in a laboratory, later as a quality engineer making bombers, fighters and luxury jets.  Finally I became a lead auditor for the world’s largest certification organization and I just snapped.  Although I was successful, I was not satisfied with my life or work.

So, on Valentines Day 2008, I threw away my snow shovel and moved to Austin, Texas adopted two large floppy dogs and 28-ounce neurotic kitten and decided to find my bliss. It has been two years now and I am so happy.  I released the suppressed artist’s within me and I am flourishing.  I paint and sculpt every single day and love it.

My goal as an artist is to share my vision of the world by, creating distinct pieces of work with unique forms, textures and expressions that will add something special to the viewer’s day and perhaps make them smile.
